Inter School Kho-Kho Competition
 Ags Sopore conducted the Inter Ags Kho-Kho Competition.  Students participated in a sportive spirit with a great zeal. They wonderfully showcased the basics concerned about the sport -Building fitness, engaging in self defense and increasing concentration.Getting on the way an inter-Ags Kho-Kho championship was organized at Ags Sopore . All the Ags schools had their teams ready for the event. All the players put their Best efforts to make their team victorious. Ags Sopore boys emerged as the winner of the match and declared as the champion of the trophy. The winner team and the participant teams were cheered by the staff and students as well.The Principal, Ags Sopore congratulated all the players for having put up such a breathtaking performance....

On the eve of *Children day celebrations* as a mark of child development and educational awareness *AGS Sopore* organised the event in a grand and fruitful way wherein a total of *25 teachers and 326 students* participated in the same.
A lot of events were organised like *Quiz competition, Speeches, Solo dances, Punjabi /English / Hindi songs , Poem recitation and games like pop other player's balloons* were performed. The management and teachers encouraged the children to participate in numbers by surprise gifts in order to garner more participation and also to make them happy.The teachers worked extremely hard to make the event memorable.Thus the POA(plan of action)worked and prove very informative and useful for mental development and inculcation of skillful multidisciplinary action.

05 Dec : In order to refresh older memories and relive the childhood days, Army Goodwill School Sopore conducted an Annual Alumni Meet with the alumni of the school here on Sunday.

The event was aimed to build a platform wherein the experience can be shared and new memories are made.

The Meet commenced with Alumni interaction and speech, followed by cultural programs and saw an ending with felicitation of the alumni.

A staff member of AGS said that the inclement weather could not hamper the spirit of Soporians as total of 50 Alumni graced the event and interacted with students of the school. Others who could not make it to the event felt the vibe by watching Live Video Telecast.
All the alumni from various field shared their experiences with the students and motivated them to work hard and study diligently to make their life a success and thereby bring prosperity in the valley.Alumni focussed on the contribution made by the school and the staff in showing their life the path of success and happiness.

Meanwhile at the end the ALUMNI gave a vote of thanks to AGS and its Admin staff for giving them a wonderful opportunity wherein they were able to share their experience, refresh memories and guide the youth of Sopore....

Army Goodwill School Sopore celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm.The Principal hoisted the national flag on the school building sharp at 9:00 am. All the students and teachers saluted the flag and then sang the National Anthem with nobody moved honoring it. Then followed the Cultural Programme, Patriotic Poems and Songs were recited by the students.
In the end, the Principal delivered the short speech. She told the students about the supreme sacrifice of the great martyrs who gave their lives for the sake of freedom. She also said that the freedom was very precious.

During Lockdown Ags Sopore took many steps to engage student's through E- Learning. WhatsApp groups from nursery to tenth class, where subject teachers put up different tasks and chapter notes for student's. Mrs Harvinder Kour Principal Ags Sopore is monitoring the whole process and so far about 80 per cent student's have been registered. The school administration is giving online classes through zoom application for classes, 8th, 9th and 10th. Subject wise teacher's distribute the timetable in consultation with guardian's. The introduction of Idream learning application is proving worth as it has been updated with jk bose syllabus content, the school administration with the help of class teacher's has conveyed to parents and guardians to install the application and student's are performing their Homework through the app content.
