Army Goodwill School was opened on ist April,2004. The name Army GoodWill School originated from the fact that the school was built as a goodwill gesture to the local population under OP Sadbhavna. The School is situated at Mazbugh Sopore and was established as a 'model learning centre' to provide a bench mark to the existing Government and private schools in the vicinity.

the school has 471 children on roll at present.This number is increasing every season and so is its popularity among schools and parents. The school enjoys excellent relationships with the parents who value the caring and positive ethos which the school provides.The pupils are enthusiastic learners who enjoy the friendly working atmosphere of the school. The atmosphere is epitomised in our genuinely polite and well behaved children. School has 32 teaching and non-teaching staff.
